The voice
As Jon wrapped up his hotel management career, the voice was still in good shape - due largely to the melodic ballads and hymns Jon loves to sing! If you heard Jon Durfee in the Air Force Tops in Blue Competitions in the 1970's (Top Pop Male Vocalist, Strategic Air Command, 1973), or in Denver (down the street from Elvis!), or in '70's New Hampshire that's pretty much the way Jon sounds today.
The mustache & beard, as seen on prior pages, are recent additions. Summer's coming, so.....
